Contract state is now a first-class record on every organization. Legal teams can attach signed agreements and record terms acceptance without leaving the account view, and that state is reflected immediately in billing and license workflows.
Before this change, signed agreements lived in email threads or external document systems with no structured link to the organization record in Clientia. Billing actions and license issuance could proceed without any verification that the legal preconditions had been met.
Now each organization carries a legal profile that tracks document attachments, tax classification, and acceptance events with timestamps. Any downstream workflow — issuing licenses, activating subscriptions, initiating checkout — can gate on the completeness of that profile.
This update also introduces a contract history section where amendments and version transitions are logged in order, giving legal and finance teams a shared source of truth that doesn't require reconciling email timestamps against system records.
